New Business Advocacy
Our organizational focus on relationship building extends to the New Business team, where each advisor is assigned a dedicated case manager. Your case manager will learn about your business and processes to ensure a smooth working relationship. Each case manager understands that every case is important, communicates case status proactively, and advocates to the carrier on behalf of the advisor and client. As a LifeMark Partner, we are assigned exclusive carrier new business and underwriting teams, providing us easy access to key information to assess underwriting decisions, and allowing us to communicate effectively with key carrier decision makers.
Our Underwriting team focuses strictly on medical research and underwriting. Our advisors rely on our Underwriting team to step in to collaborate with the appropriate carrier to obtain the best underwriting outcome and solution for the client. They participate in the pre-application process, providing insights on applicants with multiple or unique impairments. The Underwriting team also assists our New Business team in evaluating cases that have been submitted formally and resulted in an unexpected outcome.
Regardless of whether you are working with our New Business or Underwriting teams, you can always be certain we are all working toward the same goal - to achieve the best possible outcome for your clients!
Sales & Marketing Support
We understand that each producer has a different level of protection product knowledge and confidence in the sales process. Our sales support approach is to provide each advisor with the level of support they need, from online self-service producer tools to in-person client meeting Point of Sale assistance.
Our Sales and Marketing Support team is comprised of our internal case design team along with Regional Directors in the field to provide in-person support. The team is available to assist with illustrations, product information and marketing materials, case design, advanced sales opportunities, and policy placement.
The Duncan Advisor Resources Point of Sale Program can be customized to fit the specific amount of support you need. If you feel it would be most advantageous to your firm to have our team work with your client (either alongside or directly with you) to fact-find, understand goals/objectives, and ultimately secure an application to place coverage, we have a formal solution for this support. That will allow you to focus on the relationship while we provide the product expertise.
We acknowledge that the life insurance process can be difficult on both the agent and the client. We recognize our obligation to continually improve the process with leading technology, application fulfillment, and other resources to make life easier. Our operations team is consistently looking for more efficient and user friendly technologies to facilitate an easier life insurance application process.
